Our community class is free for any and all to attend. The community class offers a chance for new teachers to practice their craft in a supportive environment, while offering students a chance to practice in community and offer constructive feedback for the new teacher.
This months community class will feature Yin Yoga. Yin is a floor based practice with seated and reclining postures. Supportive props are used while taking passive poses for 2-5 minutes to encourage muscle release. This quiet and slow paced practice focuses on stillness and the connection of body, mind, and breath. Yin Yoga involves coming to an edge in poses then using props to support the body.
